Can someone tell/find the proper taping for a sprained ankle?

When i was in high school, our sports trainers would always tape them for me when i needed them to but i would never play attention to how they did. i have everything i need, i just don't remember how to do it. does anyone know how to do it or can find a video or diagram of how to do it. I've googled but couldn't find anything. Please help, i have basketball games for like the next three nights and those elastic bands/wraps from walgreens are worthless for support. Thx for your time in advance!

If you just sprained your ankle, it's not a great idea to tape your ankle and play on it because that'll make your ankle a lot worse off after your done playing. Ideally you should rest it up for a few weeks before going back to playing. Ice is a huge help. Also, in the long term a nice lace-up ankle brace is what you need to keep that ankle tight when you play basketball. That can be purchased at www.healthyfeetstore.com. If you want to tape you ankle in the future, here's a diagram on how to do it http://www.sportstek.net/ankle_taping.htm. Hope this helps!
