Muay Thai and health problems?
I'm thinking about training Muay Thai (Thai boxing), but I've heard some bad things about it, about possible brain damage, joint problems even a shorter lifespan.
So, I'm wondering what are some possible permanent problems I might get from training Muay Thai for 5-6 years, and how to avoid them?
I've been training in Muay Thai for over 25 years. I'm 42, most people think I'm 30. I train 6 days a week, and have a resting heart rate of 48 beats per minute. My brain is fine, and I have no joint problems. So whoever is telling you about health problems associated with Muay Thai are full of crap.
