What do you do when you constantly give support to someone in relation but you don't get the same in return ?
I have a older sister that I give much support to when needed. I have always felt that I was the Big Sis, and her protector. The problem is, she is not there for me in the same way. I just moved in my new home I had purchase and not one time have she came to visit me. She stayed to blocks away and I visited her all the time. She has also moved, same day I went by her home to see it. I believe this is all personal with her, could someone give me an idea of what might be happening.
Your sister's actions are signs of jealousy and self-centeredness. This is her way of acting out resentment aimed at you.
How do I know? I experienced the EXACT same thing.
My sister's behavior made me uneasy, especially when most of her friends ( strangers to me ) were overtly rude and resentful too.
Then at a family BBQ her brand new friend accused me of many negative things. All were blatant lies. Other members of our family were stunned as well.
My sister was embarrassed that her friend exposed her. She never apologized or explain why she lied. That was 5 years ago.
That forever changed our relationship; though it gave answers to many puzzling things.
