New MMA fighter,need help buying pads..?
Ok so im gonna start doing mma classes and i need to buy pads.I want to get somthing quality,that i wont have to replace every like couple months.For gloves i need sparring,but with the fingers outside not like the Boxing Gloves.I also need shin guards (grappling style).Also Head Gear.I have no clue how to choose that.I was looking at hayabusa because i have heard they are really good quality,but they are very expensive.So i was wondering what are some other good brands,links would be nice.Also i know tapout is widely publicised is it a good brand??
I wouldn't get Tapout training gear. There's really no point. You pay a few extra dollars for the logo, but at the end of the day who cares?

These come highly recommended. I train with them regularly, have for two years, and they show very little sign of wear at all. Super High Quality product. They'll set you back about 70 bucks, but it's well worth it.

Headgear I won't make a recommendation on. Any of the brands sold at www.combatsports.com will take care of you just fine. They don't really sell junk. I'd avoid the Top Contender stuff if you can, but if you're on a budget it'll do the trick.
(I just scoped out Tapout gear at CS, it looks like it's just re-branded Combat Sports stuff, and right now it's dirt cheap. Might wanna check that out. Don't pay more for the logo, but if you get a deal, go for it.)
