What was the name of a sci-fi series about a guy put on glasses and turned into a huge monster to fight evil?
Please help me get some sleep. The guy looked Asian. I used to watch it in the mid seventies, I was a little kid. The were some kind of futuristic force that guarded the planet. They all wore suits and this guy had some king of glasses or mask stuck on his shirt (left pocket height) pulled it off, put it over his eyes and became this huge creature. Thanks for your help.
This must be "Ultra 7" (an English-dubbed version of the Japanese series "Ultraman" which Turner Broadcasting distributed in 1985).
The English dubbing for the show was done by the Canadian studio Cinar (the folks that gave you Are You Afraid of the Dark, Busy World of Richard Scarry and many other classic kids' shows).
"Ultra 7" was rerun on TNT from 1993 to 1998.
