Is it legal to have an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) tournament in a public park?
So, i have gloves. Experience. As do my friends, and we have sparred for far to long. Time to actually do some damage >:}
So i was wondering, would it be legal to have an MMA tournament in a public park? We have all the protective gear, and know what we are doing. Plus, it's not like we're letting anyone join in, you have to be invited.
So is that legal, or do you have to have the park owners permission?
Okay, so don't comment on the safety issue. We do UFC all the time, we know what were getting ourselves into. I've broken my ankle, fractured my writst, and take several low blows in my time. Just anser the question please.
You would probably have to rent the area for such an event. Contact the city hall who owns the park and ask.
