whats the difference between a Judo gi and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi/kimono?
im trying to find a correct size for me
height: 5'5
lbs: 200
waist: 36
I cross train in both judo and jujitsu. Essentially you can use one kimono/gi for both. I have one for each and the judo gi is larger because they use it to throw and the jujitsu gi is smaller so there is less to hold onto for submissions. I personally feel you should get a separate gi for both. They have charts for each size. Google atama kimonos or atama gi's (they have both types of gi's w/charts).
