still no bicep muscle wen trying to flex , did i over work it to hard?

please i need an answer... i took a week off from boxing training because i was sick with strep.. after i felt better i came back and after my work out my trainer made me do 3 sets of 10 of pullups, push ups and dips. i struggled with the pull ups and dips by the 2nd set but pushed myself.. in result right after i felt like my arms were dead weight, an hour went by an i tried to flex both of my arms and my biceps had no muscle. just flab. my triceps and an forearms were still rock hard but my biceps were soft n felt like jello. this is my 2nd day out of training and the bicep muscles havent returned to being rock hard like they were prior to the pullups push ups and dip exercise.. can somebody PLEASE tell me what happened and have you ever expierienced this and what should i do.. i would really really appreciate it. thank you . please respond.

So you had boxing training then after that your trainer made you do THREE sets of 10 of those excercises you mentioned? I always thought doing 2 sets of 12-14 would work better because you have more reps. But I'm no trainer.

To me that is overtraining for one day. I heard its better to do quick sessions of workout but really push yourself. So workout 3 times a week but make sure each workout is only between 30-60 mins. But in that short period of time, it must be a vigorous workout.

Perhaps your boxing training should be done on the one day, then have a few days rest then do the excercises your trainer made you do. Just a suggestion.

Also, make sure you're eating the right foods to give your body the fuel it needs. You need carbs and protein.
