What could cause foamy pee for dogs?
My dog peed in her room today.. she's fully trained to go on her pad but my sister forgot to put a new one so that's probably why she had an accident.
Anyway her pee had some foam on it. I'm almost completely sure that it was pee because around the foam was a very yellow liquid. It looked exactly like pee.. just with a bit of foam.
I've read that it could be a kidney problem or it could be nothing much at all.
I'm trying to avoid the vet because my dad is being cheap and does not want to pay (even if my dog IS sick, I'll probably need to pay for it myself) but I will go if I'm sure I need to.
So my question is, what is the MOST LIKELY cause and what else should I look out for?
Again, I'm not asking if I should take her to the vet or not. I know I SHOULD, but if it is as some people are saying, I really dont wanna spend like $50 for the vet to tell me "its nothing to worry about, just make sure to avoid her eating anything she shouldnt".
Yes you should take her to the vet because if you don't it could really hurt her if she isn't treated for it.
