What can I purchase for a cyclist with cold fingers and toes?
My dad complains his toes and finger are cold when he rides his bike in the park. I would like to purchase some performance gear to keep him warm. I checked out under armor at dicks sporting goods and the gloves and socks look like plain gloves and socks @ $29.99 for the gloves and $18.00 for a 4 pair of socks. I feel like there something else out there that’s better. Anyone have any feedback on what I can purchase , or have used under armor with good results? Thanks for any input.
Ummm. I didn't think I had to mention it but he already uses gloves and socks. Neither of which is keeping him sufficiently warm. Cheap gloves, or plain sock would not work.
Great idea for your dad. nashbar.com is a very popular and less expensive place to shop for all bike related items. Here is the URL to the cold whether items including shoe covers. On the left click on gloves for full fingered cold weather gloves. Socks are not enough for long rides in the cold.
