tai chi ji taichi taiji, what does it mean by it being internal?
i saw some demonstration of taiji & realise that they can actually project energy projectiles&fields out of their bodies to hit opponents. So chinese martialarts movies aren't lying afterall. is such supernatural skill termed internal, and if so, are all chinese kungfus capable of performing such feats, including WingChun, HungGar etc? A last question is if the chinese Kungfu master can project energy fields like Ryu in streetfightergames, does that mean that training in weapons is useless against such supernatural skill?
Very simply, an internal Martial Art means 1. An emphasis on the mind to coordinate the LEVERAGE of the RELAXED body as opposed to the use of brute force. 2. Internal development, concentration, breathing, and the use of (chi,ki). 3. The application of Taoist PRINCIPLES of external movement. NO ONE can cause physical damage without physical contact, PERIOD! If energy projection were possible AT ALL it could be done and proven over and over in controlled tests, which has never been done. The armed forces would teach it to solders, who would no longer need weapons.
