A Question for Bujinkan Ninja ?

Why do you dislike Mixed Martial Arts so much. Mma Fighters are
propper martial artsist who train in either Boxing, Kickboxing,
Sanshou, Karate, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu jistu, Judo, Sambo and
Wrestling.
You say they are not propper Martial Artist, why is that ? Is it because
they train in more then one Martial Art. By the way all the martial arts
they train in are all traditional martial arts. (Traditional doesn't
neccessarily Chinese and Japanese martial arts).

Here some MMA fighters for example -

Antonio Rodrigo Noqueira is Blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo.

Frank Mir is Blackbelt Brazilian Jiu jitsu

Fedor Emelianenko - Master degree in Sambo

Wandelei Silva - Black Belt Brazilian Jiu jitsu and Muay Thai

And many more..

As you can see these men are not freestyle fighters, they have
trained for years perfecting their skills in different martial arts and
there are many fighters like them.

I do not have a problem with MMA. I just consider it a sport, not a real martial art. In MMA they take bits and pieces that they think are cool from real martial arts.

Not all of the fighters in the UFC are Mixed Martial artists. Some of them are actual martial artists that usually do very well. Some of them are not martial artist but are just naturally good at fighting (Kimbo Slice). There was even a practitioner of To Shin Do (knock off of Bujinkan created by Stephen Hayes), Hardee Merritt, who fought in the many MMA matches (may not have been UFC) and won.

I also do not have a problem with the UFC. I do not like the MMA ego that most (not all) of the answer-ers on here have who think that MMA is the best style in the world.

MMA is mostly geared towards competitions with rules. I prefer to train in combat martial arts that do not train you to fight under rules, but to do whatever it takes to survive your encounter.

I have not claimed to have trained in 2 dozen martial arts. I have trained in 8 martial arts that are listed on my profile. For many years I trained in 2 or 3 martial arts at once. After I finally got in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, I quit all of the others to dedicate all of my time to training in it.

Shihan J is absolutely correct.
